Welcome to our annual 8 Over 80 feature. For more than 5 years, Crain's Cleveland Business has recognized eight individuals over the age of 80 who are still working tirelessly to advance Northeast Ohio and its residents.

Do you know someone 80 or older who has seemingly tossed the word “retirement” from his or her vocabulary and continues to make an impact in Northeast Ohio’s business, civic and philanthropic circles? We are welcoming nominations to help us determine those recognized.

To be eligible, a nominee must be working in the Cleveland area and be 80 years old or older as of April 8, 2024. 

The deadline to nominate an individual for 8 Over 80 is February 9, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

How to nominate: 

• To get started, click the application link and sign into your account. If you do not have an account, you will be asked to create one before you can proceed with the nomination form. We recommend using Chrome or Firefox web browsers to complete your application. Note, your CrainsCleveland.com account is separate from an account you create for 8 Over 80 or any other Cleveland Business recognition program.

Honoree notification: 8 Over 80 honorees will be notified by phone or email no later than 5 weeks before publication day.
